Calculator outputs are estimates

Every calculator on this site produces an output based on the inputs you provide and the specifications we have implemented. Real-world behavior in your environment may differ because of factors we do not capture: cron daemon implementation differences, platform-specific dialect extensions, timezone database versions, system integer sizes, language runtime behavior, and regulatory or specification changes that post-date our last review. Use calculator results as a starting point and validate against your target environment.

Platform behavior varies

  • Cron expression outputs reflect the specified dialect (POSIX/Linux, Quartz, AWS EventBridge, GitHub Actions). Actual behavior on your cron daemon depends on the specific implementation version and any local configuration overrides. Verify next-execution times in your target environment before deploying.
  • Timestamp conversions use the proleptic Gregorian calendar and POSIX.1-2017 §4.16 epoch definition. Systems may handle leap seconds, calendar rollover, and DST transitions differently depending on the OS, language runtime, and timezone database version.
  • Number base and Base64 conversions follow published specifications (Knuth TAOCP Vol. 2, RFC 4648, IEEE 754-2019). Language runtime implementations may have precision differences for values exceeding 64-bit integer or floating-point representation limits.
